उपनिषदों की कथाएँ पुस्तक का कुछ अंश : एक बार देवताओं ने ब्रह्म की महिमा से असुरों के ऊपर विजय प्राप्त की । जिस प्रकार आग के आगे सब पतिंगे नष्ट हो जाते है उसी प्रकार देवताओं के आगे सब असुर विनाश को प्राप्त हो गये। पर वह आग देवताओं ने स्वयं अपने ही से प्राप्त नहीं की थी । जिस प्रकार आग से तपाया हुआ लोहे का गोला तिनकों ओर कपड़ों को जलाने में समर्थ होता है उसी प्रकार ब्रह्मरूपी अग्नि से तपे………
