ओथेलो पुस्तक का कुछ अंश : पुस्तक का विवरण : ‘ऑथेलो’ एक दुःखान्त नाटक है। शेक्सपियर ने इसे सन् 1601 से 1608 के बीच लिखा था। यह समय शेक्सपियर के नाट्य-साहित्य के निर्माण-काल में तीसरा काल माना जाता है जबकि उसके अपने प्रसिद्ध दुःखान्त नाटक लिखे थे। इस काल के नाटक प्रायः निराशा से भरे हैं। ‘ऑथेलो’ की कथा सम्भवतः शेक्सपियर से पहले भी प्रचलित थी………
